The work “Romanian military doctor, Severinian, precursor and father of artificial thinking – The contribution of Dr. Ștefan Odobleja to the definition of the concept of artificial intelligence”, highlights the fact that, in the history of this field, the Romanian scholar was the first scientist to describe the principles, ways and methods of creating the artificial thinking machine, as he called it.

These were described in his vast work, 800 pages, distributed by Libraire Malione, Paris, in French under the title “Consonant Psychology” in 2 volumes, volume I 1938, volume II 1939 at the great universities of the world of those times.

The author of this work demonstrates that Consonant Psychology is in fact a generalized cybernetics, defined 10 years later – cybernetics, by Norbert Wiener.

Consonantist psychology has revealed the importance of dual, binary and dichotonic mechanisms both in psychology and beyond it in all sciences.

In his work, Ștefan Odobleja uses nine universal laws: equivalence, balance, compensation, reaction, oscillation, reversibility, inertia, consonance, transformation, based on the phenomenon of resonance.

He is the first to try to apply the law of feedback (the law of reversibility) in nature and society, to as many scientific fields as possible.
