The study focuses on neologisms as basic material of the journalistic linguistic movement and as a testimony of the expressiveness that these neologisms bring to a journalistic article. The author tries to highlight the differences and similarities in the way neologisms work in the satirical press. Innovative morphosyntactic, semantic or sociolinguistic descriptions and analyzes offer the opportunity to show that research on satire can be done in textual linguistics and not only in literary studies.
