Among the work-tools necessary for those interested in the literary phenomenon (and not only), the bibliographic syntheses have been left waiting for a long time. Except for the two series of bulletins elaborated by the State Library / National Library of Romania, all the other essays are either monographic or selective, intended for limited periods or defined geographical and thematic perimeters. The dictionary, designed to appear in seven volumes, will include over 12,000 authors who wrote or about whom something was written in the mentioned interval, but also of those from the previous period who, through their works, were present in a form or another, in our literary life. The authors are presented in alphabetical order, and their works in order of appearance. The box with critical references follows, in chronological and alphabetical order, within a year, and in the group of articles belonging to a referent, the order is also chronological.
