The work deals with the problems that appeared in the secular society of our country, a society on the way to full integration into the great European family (European Union), hence the answers expected from the Church to resolve the moral crisis should be submitted without delay. It is the duty of theologians and canonists of the Church to state strongly, together with legal experts, that the institution of the family must always be based on the free and loving union of a man and a woman, promoting in harmony the conditions for marriage and the legal agreement on marriage as well as the legal agreement on any impediments that may arise from the lack of these conditions. In view of the current dangers which may affect the stability of the Christian family, Father Professor Vasile Mihoc states: “The holy institution of the family is being attacked today from all sides and by all means. The evil one seems to have focused his base attacks on the strongest fortress of humanity, the one that ensures its own survival.”
