STAT ŞI BISERICĂ ÎN ŢARA ROMÂNEASCĂ ŞI MOLDOVA ÎN SECOLELE XIV- XV

The volume State and Church in Wallachia and Moldova in the XIV-XV centuries addresses a topic of Romanian history that raises the issue of interdependence between the State and the Church and represents a synthesis research, of the issue raised by the relationship between the two institutions, a complementary and not distinct research, both in terms of the three Romanian realities, and in terms of space and time proposed for research.

In the analysis of these relations we stopped on Wallachia and Moldova, considering the very similar evolution of the two Romanian countries, their institutions evolving together, emphasizing the importance of the Church in the evolution of the State and Society, this representing the landmark that pursues all development theirs.

The paper captures the beginning moments of Wallachia and Moldova, moments between myth and reality, legend and history and at the same time the moments of recognition of the two metropolises by the Patriarchate of Constantinople.
