The volume Husband and Wife on the Way of Salvation is intended to be a theological synthesis of family life in the teaching of the Orthodox Church and a brief presentation of the lives of holy husbands and wives, who by their faith, family life, but also by the end of martyrdom, have were passed into the synaxaries of the Church.

The scriptural arguments for family life, the divine origin of the family, the placement of the Mystery of the Church of the marriage that the Lord Jesus Christ, through His presence at the wedding in Cana of Galilee and His first miracle when the bridegroom was turned water into wine at the request of His Mother.

The content of the work presents to the reader models of families worthy of following from the Old and New Testaments, married saints of the Orthodox Church, but also prayers for strengthening husbands on the path of salvation in mutual communion, for acquiring the immeasurable lamb of God. In the last part of the book there are prayers for the benefit of the Christian family addressed to the holy protectors of the family.

Family life does not hinder man's efforts on the path of salvation, the family does not close the door to the Kingdom of Heaven, just as monastic life does not automatically open them to those who choose this path of needs, of constant struggle with the self.
