Genurile muzicii culte. Vol. 1: Simfonia și simfonismul

The book is an investigation of the main genres of cult music, from the most complex orchestral genres (symphony, concert) to chamber genres (sonata and string quartet), to the scenic genres, belonging to the performing arts (opera, ballet) and the vocal-symphonic ones (mass, oratorio, cantata, Passions). The paper highlights elements related to definition and terminology, the historical evolution of each of them, insisting on the analyzes performed on selected masterpieces from the creation of their great representatives.
